Built in 1829 by Major Amos Webb, Arlington is the largest plantation home in the area with 8,000 square feet of floor space. This three story brick mansion is located on a beautiful setting along Bayou Cocodrie. Admission fee.

Open during daylight. This grand plantation house, built in the early 1800's played a vital role during the Civil War for both the Confederate and Union forces. Although the house is not open for tours, the lovely, landscaped extensive grounds and 3 miles of asphalt walkways surrounding this antebellum home are open to the public. Free admission.

WASHINGTON CATFISH FESTIVAL

The festival begins on Friday at 6 p.m. with music.  Activities on Saturday and Sunday begin at 10 a.m. featuring native crafts, exhibits, music, a flower show, antiques, food booths, arts and crafts, and a catfish cook-off on Sunday.  Free admission.
